DOB: April 11, 2008 (334) Palomino Pinto Mare 33.5"Darmonds Dashing Dutchman X Lilac Acre's Lady Ruby AMHA # A 185261 / AMHR # 289557T / PtHA # 135621 *~*Parentage Qualified*~* "Sunny" was our very first official "Desert Realm" foal! and she was out of "Jazz" our very first miniature horse, Jazz is a younger maternal sister to our very own "Sapphire", who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 22. Sunny was sired by "Dutch" Darmonds Dashing Dutchman, who's stud services were offered to us, many thank yous to Laurie <3 after losing our beloved first stallion & her half brother, "Rope" Dutchman's Ray of Hope, and Sunny was named after him - "Rayon De Soleil" is French for Ray of Sunshine. Before she was born, I was telling everyone that would listen that she was gonna be a Palomino Pinto, Sire is Cremello and dam is a Homozygous Sorrel Pinto, my sister was surprised, when out popped a Palomino Pinto filly lol. Sunny was sold as weanling and eventually made it to New Mexico where she was loved dearly until her death on September 6, 2013. Sunny had two beautiful colts, before her passing. We have a couple of cousins to Sunny, that are still here, out of our Sapphire line.  "Liner" Desert Realms Bayliner 
DOB: June 7, 2008 (334) Bay Gelding - no measurementEcho First X Miss Shiloh Rose PtHA # 135669 - Breeding Stock "Liner" short for Bayliner I know really original in the naming department lol - was our 2nd foal, as "breeders", and he was a major heartbreak, nope he didn't die that I am aware of, and not that he was solid out of two pinto parents lol, but he was out of a WCMHR/PtHA registered Bay Pinto mare and the most gorgeous AMHR registered Black Pinto Stallion that I had ever seen, named Majesty. Liner is exceptionally beautiful, however he was only able to be registered as breeding stock in PtHA, and wasn't able to be shown at sanctioned shows. From that realization & heartbreak I decided that moving forward, I would only be breeding registered stock, A/R to A/R, so any resulting foals could be registered and shown, if they were nice enough, of course. Liner was another case of knowing what color you would get before he was born, His dam Shiloh was double Homozygous for Black and Agouti, so the only question with color was if there was going to be white spots, or not. After he was born my sister, was amazed yet again and the next foal we had she was asking what color it would be lol! 2009 Filly "Ember" Desert Realms Bejeweled Design 
DOB: May 19, 2009 (309) Sorrel Pinto Mare 30.75"Fallen Ash Farms Mine by Design X Lazy Bear Lady Sapphire AMHA # A 193181 / AMHR # 297957A / PtHA # 138381 *~*Parentage Qualified*~* "Ember" was the very first foal for my beloved "Sapphire", whom we struggled with for years to get her in foal, and it took us 5 years, a Uterine Biopsy, Culture and a flush to do the job, and a proven experienced stallion, whom is my original stallion crush, Love myself some Design <3 and I can't fail to give many Thanks to Sharon and Darryl, without your guidance I wouldn't know what to do with a hard (or impossible) to get in foal mare. Sapphire foaled in between 30 minuet checks, little stinker, and very much a theme for Sapphire, throughout her breeding career. Ember was our first official keeper, and we kept her for 12 wonderful years, and had 3 beautiful Drifter babies from her, before she went on to her amazing retirement home, where she is absolutelty spoiled rotten, and gets to remain with her last foal, Meeko. I should mention I had every intention to retire her here, but thought she would be happier living in a small herd, where she is the head huncho, and gets to rule over a Trio of 2021 geldings. We have retained Ember's daughter "Enya" for our breeding program, and her grandson "Bright" as a stallion prospect <3 I should also mention that Ember was the start to our fire themed names for Sapphire's foals. 2010 Colt "Stark" Desert Realms Shock Value

Who is a cousin to "Allure"!! "Stark" has always been one of my favorites from Sapphire =) He is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful head and the BEST Personality. He was born on our first year with "mare stare" streaming, and his MOM was a beast that year, we waited, and waited, and waited, knowing she was close, and had been close for WEEKS, our dad said come with me to the storage shed it will only take 20 minuets in the daylight hours, she won't foal. Famous last words, Sapphire only waited until we were out of the driveway before she popped him out, and we came back to a baby nearly totally dry, and a alot of messages on the landline inbox with worried spectators lol - in the sack OH! he is out! At least she foaled, no telling how long she would have held out on us lol without us giving her a moment of privacy. Stark was sold as a weanling to a wonderful couple, who became repeat buyers, & Starky Boom Man, was Spoiled Rotten as he should be. Merrylegs had excellent timing for her delivery, as we were gearing up for the Mesa County Fair. Toph was the start of my loss of self control lol! I had originally listed her sale, you know maintain a low number and all that jazz. When Toph was 3 months old Tiria and I looked at each other and said we need to keep this one! Tiria named her "Ravus Elegantia" which is Latin for "Grey Elegance" which she is, Elegant to the core! Toph is absolutely Gorgeous and our most Arabian looking mare, She has a Stunning head, Big Doe Eyes, just the complete package. She is also one of those cautionary tells, be careful what you name them lol! She was a fire breathing dragon in her younger years, but has mellowed out to be a wonderful member of our herd. We had been Foal Watching two different Mares, and Miss Toph decided she was not to be out done, and Foaled First with Very Little Warning, I was awoken by our frantic Mom, to "WE HAVE A BABY!!!!!!" After being awake ALL Night Long and just barely Shutting my eyes. Thankfully it all went well. I'm Sooo Happy with this Girl, She is everything I could have put on a wish list, and She was 6 Years in the making, I kept her dam from our 2011 foal crop, Cause I thought she would make an amazing Cross on my then "new" Stallion, Zephyr Woods Cash Money, aka: "Drifter" who is Proudly still on my stallion page. When I went to tell Tiria that I wanted to keep her, She said she did too, So it was decided Toph was gonna stay! but she didn't make it easy When it came to getting her bred, we went through hell, it took us Three years to finally get her in Foal. For all the trouble We went through, I was planning on Keeping this foal,for a Show Horse regardless of gender or color, if the conformation was like I thought it would be, and OMGosh Suki Turned out even Better then I could have dreamed. She is Conformationally Correct and has thee MOST Beautiful Head, Big eyes, and What I would Consider a Teacup Muzzle, and I can't leave out her EARS! LOVE! She is Ultra tiny and I doubt she will get much bigger then 30" Inches or so. Plus She is one of my favorite Colors :) This Little Girl has been Sweet Since the day She was born, Naturally Curious, About a month later we discovered she was Sassy and Quite the little DIVA.
