Photo Gallery of Desert Realms Lady Sardonyx Welcome to the World :) Nyx was Born May 12, 2011 at 11:55pm, at 323 Days Gestation. Since she was Born "Minuets to Midnight" I was fighting hard for that to be her Registered name, However We both didn't Agree. So On the Next Breath Decided on Lady Sardonyx, In Honor of her Dam "Lady Sapphire". Sardonyx is a Really Beautiful Precious Stone that is Pretty much the Same Color as Nyx :) & is Found in the Book of Revelation. This was the Closest we have ever got to Catching Sapphire Foaling. She still had the Placenta Attached. 
 May 13, 2011 One Day Old! Looking Alot like Daddy =) Check Out that Gorgeous Head :) She Really Doesn't Know What to think about Tiria hmmmmm...... 
 May 19, 2011 A Whole Week Old =) At This Point We were Assuming she was Smokey Black, However Upon Genetic Testing Discovered she is a Seal Brown instead, and a Filly of a Different Color for us, up to this Point they have all Been Red Based Pintos ;) Now the Question is which of her Parents has the Seal Brown Gene? My Guess is Momma 
 May 27, 2011 (15 Days Old) After Being a Prisoner my Whole Life they Finally gave me my FREEDOM! and What do I do with this Freedom you may ask................. Stick Close to mom! It's Scary Out Here! 
 5 Weeks Old, With Nyx Getting too heavy to Carry Around it was Time to Start Halter Training. I don't think Nyx was too Pleased about this new Development. 
 After her Halter Lesson, it was time for her favorite Place.... "The Meadow!"

 I thought this Picture was too Awesome for Words :) It has All of Nyx's Paternal Siblings in it, with their Dams. From L-R: Merrylegs (Sold), Jadis (Sold), Toph, Lucy (Sold), Nyx & Sapphire.  Nyx Three Months Old, In August we finally got Around to Body Clipping Nyx :) We were Pleasantly Surprised by what we found under all that Baby Fuzz

 September 5, 2011 Nyx 4 Months Old, and Already Getting Ready for Winter, Won't be Long Before She Looks Like a Little Yak :)
